Seeing that potential sponsors are having similar questions, we would like to include frequentkly asked questions and the answers here. The information is also useful for members of Organizing Committee and other individuals in theri fundraising work.

Q: What is Vietnam HR Day?
A: Vietnam HR Day (Vietnam Human Resources Day) is an annual meeting for business leaders, HR professionals, and those who are interested in human resources management (HRM). The event aims to create a place to learn, exchange, and share experience in HRM. Moreover, Vietnam HR Day desires to “Build a professional Human Resources Management community in Vietnam, contributing to improve the competitiveness of businesses in Vietnam”.
Q: What are the purposes of HR Day event?
A: HR Day event is annual meeting with an aim to:
- Honor human resources professionals in Vietnam.
- Share knowledge, skills and experiences of HRM in enterprises.
- Set up a network of individuals and organizations with the goal to improve the quality of HRM in enterprises.
- Aim to establish “Vietnam Human Resources Association”.
Q: Who can participate in HR Day event?
A: The following categories are most suiting.
- Entrepreneurs, directors, senior managers of enterprises.
- CPOs, Heads of Human Resource Department.
- University lecturers and researchers who focus on human resource management subjects.
- Others who have interest in HR Management.

Q: Who is the Main Sponsor of HR Day 2010?
A: This year, VietnamWorks.com is the Main Sponsor, same as for HR Day 2009. The sponsor contract has been signed.

Q: When is the deadline for registrating sponsor?
A: The Organizing Committee held the first Press Release on 11 Sep 2010 (Link). After the press release, the earlier the sponsors finalise the sponsoring contract, the more benefits they will enjoy from the communications aspect.
Q: What other benefits will the earlier registered sponsors have?
A: For the same category (Gold, Silver, Bronze) of sponsors, the sponsors' logos on the Event's backdrop will be located from left (nearer to the centre) to right, in line with order of confirming the sponsor. Same relative position will be applied for consulting booths. The earlier registered sponsors will have a priority location for the booth (nearer to the entry to the conference hall).
Q: When and where will the HR Day 2010 be held?
A: This year, the event in Hanoi will be held in National Convention Center (same as last year) on 7 Nov 2010, with expected 1000 participants. The event in Hochiminh City is planned for 31 Oct 2010, with expected 600 participants (venue in HCMC will be confirmed soon).
Q: How many sponsors did HR Day 2009 have?
A: There were 15 corporate sponsors at HR Day 2009.
Q: How many sponsors will be this year?
A: In addition to the Main Sponsor, for each event we expect to have maximum 2 Gold Sponsors, maximum 2 Silver Sponsors, and 8 Bronze Sponsors. (Note: In Hanoi is one event, in HCMC is one event).

Q: What will be provided to the Sponsor at the Consulting booth?
A: The Sponsor will be provided a table and two chairs, with an electric socket.
Q: What can the Sponsor bring to the Consulting booth?
A: The Sponsor can bring marketing material like company brochures, profiles, leaflets, standees, laptops/desktops, LCD, screen, etc but not products.
Standee relevant ìnformation:
- Standee size: 0.6m x 1.6m (for a view of the standees, please refer to a picture at HR Day 2009 in NCC, Hanoi).
- Standee printing: In National Convention Center (NCC) in Hanoi, they apply monopol printing (!). That means the poster for standee must be printed by NCC. Therefore, sponsors are kindly requested to send the design files to Ms. Nguyet, anhnguyet.ql@gmail.com, mobile 0165 8007257, before the deadline (16 Oct for HCMC and 23 October for Hanoi). We are very sorry for this abnormal procedure of the venue owner. At White Palace in HCMC : No such a restriction.
- Format for the design file: The design file format should be .ai or .crd (Corel) or Photoshop.
- Extra charge by NCC: Products printed outside are charged 30% on top of the service price by NCC. For a standee size 0.6x1.6m, the extra charge is about VND 45,000. (The printing price is about VND 150,000/sqm).

Q: Can we only sponsor a Consulting booth?
A: Yes, the sponsor amount is VND 10 million per consulting booth for each event. If you select to have consulting booth in both Hanoi and Hochiminh City, then the sponsor amount is VND 20 million.
Q: How many participants were there at Vietnam HR Day 2009?
A: There were about 860 participants. Last year we had HR Day only in Hanoi.
Q: Regarding PR articles posted on HRLink.com.vn, is there any limit on length or number of photos included?
A: There is actually no limit. However, the Sponsor's PR/Marketing department ought to be aware of the adverse effects if the articles are too long or too many photos are included.
Q: What does it mean "post-event communications"?
A: It means the information about the Event, the sponsors' logos and promotion banners are still kept until the following HR Day. In fact the proposed benefits for sponsors are quite open and aim to provide sponsors the most.
